Newsdependant report that A chieftain of All Progressive Congress (APC) and House of Representatives candidate of the party in the 2023 general election in Ijesa North Federal Constituency, Barr. Seun Odofin has congratulated Nigerians on the celebration of 2023 Democracy Day, thanking Nigerians for electing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is evidently steering the ship of the country to greatness in less than a month of his administration.
Speaking with newsmen in Abuja, Odofin bemoaned enormous challenges facing the country despite her rich human and natural resources. He hinted that only a strategic, critical thinking selfless and courageous man like Tinubu can make the needed change.
He appealed to all and sundry to keep trusting and supporting the present administration, expressed confidence that Nigeria won’t regret voting Tinubu because his actions so far has confirmed his tenacity and political will to fight every forces and battles confronting the progress of Nigeria and well-being of her citizenry.
“I’m very much delighted to congratulate Nigerians on the occasion of this year Democracy Day which symbolizes genuine democratic governance in Nigeria with a strategic, critical thinking, selfless and courageous man steering the ship of the nation.
With less than a month in office as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as demonstrated capacity to take Nigeria out of the woods to greater height with actions and policies that will help Nigeria and Nigerians regain the lost glory.
This government is our own and we should keep praying for President Tinubu and continue to give him maximum support. Be rest assured that this government will defend the weak and support the poor to break the shackles of poverty without compromising the place of legitimate rich class.
I am confident that Nigeria now see reasons why we championed the cause of Tinubu Presidency. He is well prepared for the task with needed strength, political will, courage and experiences. He has taken the most fearful action of terminating subsidy regime which was avoided by past leaders despite its obvious negative impacts, now forcing the termites of Nigeria economic growth out of the way including suspension of CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele to pave way for investigation of economic sabotage.”
