Newsdependant report that Hon. Seun Odofin has felicitated Muslim faithful in Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency and Nigeria at large on the occasion of Eld-el-Kabir celebration, calls for unity and tolerance for a greater nation.
The 2023 House of Representatives candidate of APC for Ijesa North Federal Constituency and one time Senior Special Adviser on Administration and Legislative Compliance to immediate past Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Femi Gbajabiamila made this known in his Sallah message.
The APC chieftain and founder of a renowned NGO, Odofin OASIS Foundation stated that Eid-el-Kabir is a season that calls for rededication to the cause of mankind; to appreciate the gift of life and to imbibe the virtues of tolerance, humility, unity and understanding which is germane for harmonious relationship..
“While we expect our Muslim brothers and sisters to merry in the joyful mood of Eld-el-Kabir, we share in your joy and advise you not to forget the significance of this special festival which signifies sacrifice, humility, tolerance and unity.
Please reflect on these virtues for harmonious relationship. You should extend hands of cheerful giving to the needy around you to feel a sense of belonging. That’s the only way we can have a greater Nigeria of our dream.
I also want to admonish Nigerians to give maximum support to the present administration and be patience with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led-Federal government to fix all the rots now that the task of rebuilding the nation has commenced.
APC Presidency is for the betterment of Nigeria. It’s a government for every section and group in the country. This is evident in every step taken so far.
Making Nigeria works for the common man requires strong political will, intelligence, commitment and endurance because the forces working against a working Nigeria are so powerful.
But for President Tinubu, Nigeria is now on the path to greatness. We can’t afford to allow our enemies to rock the boat. Our renewed hope in a better and stronger Nigeria must subsist because Asiwaju is determined and has started well to make Nigeria works for Nigerians.
