Newsdependant reports that Osun State House of Assembly has screened and confirmed the nomination of Hon. Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe as Commissioner-designate in the state.
The House, at its plenary on Monday, July 17, 2023, screened and confirmed Hon. Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe as commissioner nominee asked Oriade PDP former chairman, Hon. Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe to ‘take a bow and go’ when he appeared before the house for screening as commissioner.
Hon. Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe and 24 others were nominated by Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke as commissioners and members of the state executive council.
Born in 1967, the 56-year-old graduate was asked to take a bow shortly after he introduced himself before the house.
The motion was moved by Osun House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon Wale Egbedun respectively, asking the house to allow the nominee to take a bow and go, considering the contribution made by Hon. Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe towards the development in the state.
The lawmakers accepted the motion and asked Hon. Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe to take a bow leave the house, “based on his Political background.”
