– Osun APC Chairman
Sequel to the needless diatribes churned out by the handpicked chairman of the Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Sunday Bisi, against the state chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, over the raging controversy on the recent commissioning of a number of projects in Ilesa through Tax Credit Initiative (TCI) by the state Governor Ademola Adeleke, he state APC has stated that it is advisable for the PDP state chairman to always be in a proper frame of mind before he addresses any issue having to do with his party or the government.
Lawal in a statement issued by the party’s Director of Media and Information, Chief Kola Olabisi, in Osogbo, the state capital today, wondered why Sunday Bisi went off the track like a demented castrated slave by leaving the cure of leprosy and dissipating his energy on the cure of ringworm which subsequently turned out to be an irredeemable embarrassment to himself, his party, his government and the governor he purports to be defending.
The state APC chairman explained that he was not surprised that Bisi, who ran a back-end beer parlour unsuccessfully before luck smiled on him when he was made the state Public Relations Officer and later imposed as the state Chairman of the party after his treachery against his Ijesa compatriot, the late Soji Adagunodo, threw himself into the gutter like an unguided pig in the name of laundering the damaged image of a video vixen in Abere.
Lawal stated that all efforts by the frolicking state PDP chairman to equate himself with him would be a mismatch
In Lawal’s words: “It is not an overstatement that I am currently gainfully engaged as the party chairman; busy reviewing the last elections; repositioning our party and working assiduously with the other members of the state executive to ensure that peace and harmony return fully into our party.
“It is on record that in the last few months, I have helped the party in the state to produce a Minister and National Secretary while I am still working/liaising with the Federal Government for more appointments of our members into federal positions.
“Whereas, the Osun State public will not forget how the only attempt by Sunday Bisi to make inputs in the nomination of a local government caretaker committee was vehemently rebuffed thereby causing him serious embarrassment from the amazon-governor herself, the defacto governor who calls the shots from Ede country home of the Adelekes.
“Apart from the fact that Lawal is well known and recognized by the party members, he is a busy working party chairman who doesn’t have time to spare in the midst of prostitutes as it has become the second nature of the drunken Sunday Bisi.
“Whereas, it is a known fact that the PDP as a party is domiciled in Ede country home of the governor and in the hands of the governor’s family, Bisi the figurehead chairman lives in Ilesha where he pretends to be in charge.
“Bisi’s inconsistencies know no bounds as the government is a continuum when it suits his purpose and postulates otherwise when he is out to play juvenile mischief to satisfy his paymasters.
“Rather than unleashing his media rotweillers to attack APC leaders for exposing the deceit of his kick-and-start governor, Bisi should put his head together to douse some information flying around in the state alleging that he was sacked from Osun teaching service some 15 years ago on an account of his habitual heavy consumption of local alcohol and his irresponsible philandering after under-aged school girls.
“In order to put the record straight, the former Chairman of the State Internal Revenue Service, Prince Gbite Ademikanra, and the former state Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Bola Oyebamiji, were the promoters and drivers of the initiative with His Excellency, former Governor Gboyega Oyetola, as the leader of the team.
“Oyebamiji was the chairman of the committee and Ademikanra was the Vice-chairman while the other members of the committee were Hon Remi Omowaiye, former state Commissioner for Works; the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice and a host of other eminent personalities.
“In summary, the tax credit is an initiative of the OIRS as an alternative way of generating revenue for infrastructural development under former Governor Oyetola (now Minister of Marine and Blue Economy)”, the Osun State APC chairman explained.
